Lira Group Dance Company is an unique poly-dancing school bringing to life the traditions of two nations – the passion of the Cuban salsa and the spirit of the Bulgarian horo.
As it went on, the Lira Dancing School expanded its repertoire to discover traditional dances of nations across the globe, studying choreographies on-site in their places of origin: in search of ancient traditions and customs, the school organized tours to remote corners of the world.
The school is unique for its mixed folklore choreographies, which appeal for a world of dance without borders, where people from different cultures are able to express their identity through music and dancing. The school’s talented choreographers blend together the folklore of different nations.
The school leaders believe that dancing brings people in and lets them relate to others a mature and responsible way, and that belief is reflected in the school’s motto: Dance without Borders!
